What happens in a sauna session?

For 55 minutes, (but not for the entire time, that would be unsafe..) sweat it out in your very own private, traditional Finnish sauna.

  1. A Traditional Finnish Sauna, is a HOT sauna. Heated by a rock filled heater and maintained over 185 degrees. And not only are you allowed to pour water on the rocks, it is highly encouraged! This is called Löyly and is fundamental to traditional sauna practice.

Every session includes access to the cold plunge.

  1. Alternate from HOT to COLD and experience the healing effect of cold water immersion.

Our saunas

Sunshine Mine Sauna

0.1 Sunshine Mine

Sunshine Mine is constructed from Alaskan Yellow Cedar, an exceedingly strong and dense wood. Additionally, the tree’s naturally occurring phenols make the species highly resistant to decay, which makes the wood a natural choice for use in saunas.

Sunshine Mine also includes a Himalayan salt wall. Found in all of our saunas, the salt wall creates an environment rich in negative ions and essential nutrients and minerals. The inclusion of the salt wall helps support the numerous health benefits of sauna therapy, including stress reduction, improved mood, and increased energy.

Western Red Sauna

02. Western Red

This sauna is made from Western Red Cedar, a soft wood with a light, pleasant aroma and a beautiful figure thanks to its loose grain, natural reddish color, and organic dark and light streaks. This particular wood doesn’t get overly hot to the touch, making it a great choice for use in saunas.

The Himalayan salt wall—found in all of our saunas—is here in Western Red, as well. Creating an environment rich in negative ions and essential nutrients and minerals, the salt wall affords numerous health benefits, including stress reduction, increased energy, and improved mood.

Mineral Ridge Sauna

03. Mineral Ridge

The rustic feel of this sauna is both highly traditional and beautifully striking. It all comes courtesy of Nordic Spruce, a European wood with a light brown hue, prominent grain, and small tight knots throughout. Worldwide, 97% of all saunas are made using this wonderful, high-quality wood.

Mineral Ridge also includes a Himalayan salt wall. Found in all of our saunas, the salt wall creates an environment rich in negative ions and essential nutrients and minerals. The inclusion of the salt wall helps support the numerous health benefits of sauna therapy, including stress reduction, improved mood, and increased energy.

Threebear Sauna

04. Threebear

Our Threebear is a redwood sauna. True to its name, California Redwood possesses a deep, soothing red tone. It has a wonderful aroma, too—one that is both sweet and spicy.

Like all of our saunas, Threebear has a Himalayan salt wall, which creates an environment rich in negative ions and essential nutrients and minerals. We love how it reduces stress, boosts energy and mood, and provides other health benefits.

Chinook Sauna

05. Chinook

This beautiful, European style sauna is clad with black Taika panels—a unique look achieved by applying a non-toxic wax treatment to certified Birch plywood. Chinook is a rare sauna, one not often seen in the US.

The Himalayan salt wall, found in all of our saunas, is here too. It creates an environment rich in negative ions and essential nutrients and minerals, and affords numerous health benefits including stress reduction, increased energy, and improved mood.

Silver Lake Sauna

06. Silver Lake

Unique to our CDA location, the Silver Lake sauna has an expansive, contemporary feel with a modern profile that’s ultra-soothing thanks to the soft tan of the clear Hemlock, and the sauna’s seamless construction. Silver Lake is our largest sauna, able to accommodate up to 6 people. And with its beautiful HUUM Hive heater, the Silverlake can get well over 200 degrees.

As with all of our saunas, there’s a Himalayan salt wall here, which creates an environment rich in negative ions and essential nutrients and minerals. We love how it reduces stress, boosts energy and mood, and provides other health benefits.

Right outside the Silver Lake sauna you’ll find our cold plunge tub. Continuously filtered and actively chilled, the crystal-clear water is maintained at a brisk 40-degree temperature! The practice of alternating between a hot sauna and cold-water immersion is known as contrast therapy, the many benefits of which can be found here.
